Play Therapy Austalasia PTY Limited has been formed and is in the process of recruiting members.

Its objective is to provide a professional infrastructure for those working therapeutically with children in Australia, New Zealand and adjoining countries. The APAC MA in Practice Based Play Therapy Programme in Sydney will be delivered in Sydney, NSW. This is the most comprehensive, coherent and leading play therapy training programme in the world with over 750 current students worldwide, as at March 2007.

This will commence with an introductory 5-day module in the November 2007 forming a part of the first stage, the Post Graduate Certificate in Therapeutic Play Skills.
